Single this valentine’s day? No problem!

Valentine’s day is around the corner and not everyone has that special someone to celebrate with. For me it’s just another day, but for some, Valentine’s Day is a pretty big deal. So if you’re one of those people and you’re single this year, don’t sweat it. I got a few ways to spice your single Valentine’s Day up. Don’t trip ladies, Valentine’s Day when you’re single can still be fun, too.

Take a spa day.

Everybody loves a good spa day. What better way to celebrate than to pamper yourself and make yourself feel beautiful. Grab one of your single friends and take advantage of some of those couple specials they have at the spas. Lol. One of my best friends and I did it one year and they gave us chocolate covered strawberries and everything! It was amazing! If you can splurge, go to one of those fancy spas with really good amenities and take advantage. For instance, hotels like the Four Seasons allow you to get your massage, pedicure, manicure, facial, body wrap, or whatever you’re getting and enjoy the amenities. They have a women’s lounge with snacks, a jacuzzi, pool, sauna, and wine!  Take advantage of those amenities, girl!

Wine night with other singles.

I don’t know about yall, but I love a chilled glass of wine and some chocolate covered strawberries every year. Man or no man. Grab some of your friends and have a wine night; watch some movies or play a game. You could even go to one of those wine bars or a winery and have you some fun. Live a little.

Take a trip.

Taking a trip is always a good time. Relax your mind on the beach, do some exploring, and just be free. I love going to islands and just having a nice, peaceful time. It gives me time to unwind, reflect, and rejuvenate.

Unplug and have a self-care day.

Your self-care day can be anything you want to do. If that’s sitting in front of the tv with fresh, moisturized skin binge watching your favorite tv show, movies, or reading a great book, then do it. Just make sure your self-care day is all about you.

Spend time with your loved ones.

Valentines day isn’t always just about your significant others. It could be for your loved ones, such as your friends and family. Spend your day with people who truly love and value you. That’s always a great time.

Treat yourself.

Buy yourself something nice or something you’ve been having your eye on. Enjoy a great meal and indulge in some of the foods you wouldn’t normally eat. Spend time catering to yourself and have a good time.

Valentine’s Day is just another day. Don’t get so caught up with what’s going on with social media. You want to celebrate? Celebrate yourself for being so amazing. Can’t nobody treat you better than you can treat yourself. I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s with or without someone.
